"Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward."
Kurt Vonnegut

I was born into a family with a colorful past.

The Lennoxes have lost and gained their fortune several times over, usually through some catastrophic event touched off by my Daddy's gambling habit/womanizing/bad investments/good investments gone bad/etc.

I was born during an upswing, when Pop's political ties helped keep his newest venture afloat, and his criminal leanings were curbed by the deaths of several shady associates. Mother ran off to Virgon with the gardener as soon as she could stand up off the birthing bed, and my half-brother Saul "Sully" Lennox, Jr. came into the world a week after me.

That might sound a little funny, but you read it right.

Seems the gardener's wife had been leaning on Daddy's shoulder a lot longer than anybody knew, except maybe the gardener.

Things around the old homestead were always complicated like that.

"Sometimes you just need to take a nap and get over it." Maura Stuard, age 8

Distinguishing Features

Physical Description

The cuteness of youth has yet to shake off the young Caprican. Long, honeyed strands frame her face, from bangs in need of cutting to a braid braid that falls over her left shoulder, nearly elbow length. Her heart shaped face is dominated by full lips what lend themselves to wide grins, and large, dark lashed amber eyes. She even has a little dimple. Her brows are arched and quite dark, so it's likely that beautiful blonde hair's just an expensive dye job. She stands at about five foot five, her athletic figure runs toward hippy, and she looks to be somewhere in her late teens to very early twenties.

"You build on failure. You use it as a stepping stone. Close the door on the past. You don't try to forget the mistakes, but you don't dwell on it. You don't let it have any of your energy, or any of your time, or any of your space." Johnny Frakkin' Cash

File Image Name Notes
Theo_icon.png Glitterpants Bunk next to mine, and it still took me a couple of days to run into him. Brings back a lot of good memories from class. Waiting for the glitterbombs to start rolling in.
Bennett_icon.png Sir My favorite Captain. She's real chill, and helps me stay that way. She was the first person to tell me I was going to be okay out here, the first person to look me in the eye and just mean it.
Ygraine_icon.png Farmgirl Oh, man. Milkshake in the house. The booze started flowing & we already made a wager — my beer pong skills stand strong — but I think she blew her toss just to see if the dude has any balls. I can't believe two of my classmates got stationed here.
