RE: Interrogation Report: Cylon Skinjob Model One

SUMMARY

Subject was a Cylon skinjob model One. Subject was operating undercover as Major Brandon Flynn (CMC) and acting Resistance Commander, PICON.

Interrogation was performed in the ship’s brig. Subject was confined to cell number two, while the interrogators remained well back from the bars. Subject was instructed that he would be killed if he made any violent action or attempted to approach the bars. Four Marine MPs were on call just outside the brig.

The interrogation plan was to present myself as initially hostile and then bring in Dr. Tamsin as a more sympathetic figure. If this failed to elicit a useful response, the interrogation would continue by offering cooperation as the only option other than death.

The subject reacted to Dr. Tamsin’s appearance with hostility. As soon as it became clear that none of the subject’s demands would be met and that Dr. Tamsin was leaving, the subject became violent and attempted to break down the cell bars bare-handed. He succeeded in doing so. There was then no option but to terminate the subject.

Given the ship’s location at the time of the subject’s death, the subject should not have been able to download.

Dr. Tamsin’s presence likely elicited a less-controlled response from the subject than would have been possible for a human interrogator alone. It should also be noted that she requested to be the one to terminate the subject when he attempted to break out, and did in fact fire the killing shots herself.

THE MODEL ONE

The One was angry and hostile throughout. Whatever his objective as Major Flynn, he appears to have been acting as a Cylon agent even while coordinating successful human resistance activities on Picon. It seems likely that his goal was to undermine human resistance from within, but this cannot be confirmed.

The One demanded to speak to (SGT) Cooper Knox and Ceres Delacroix (CPT Ceres Delacroix-Garrido). He did not seem aware of CPT Garrido’s recent activities or her ‘death’ on Picon, nor did he appear to be aware of Dr. Tamsin’s presence aboard the ship.

He made no attempt to feign ignorance or pretend to cooperate. He made no attempt to gain Dr. Tamsin’s sympathy. His attempts at manipulation were based solely on threats and fear.

The Ones appear to be a sort of de-facto leader and father-figure for the other models. It also seems that the Ones have used manipulation and misinformation to coerce the other models. If this is true it may be possible to destabilize the Ones’ position in Cylon society.

Our ability to have meaningful influence upon the Ones themselves seems highly unlikely.

The One possessed extreme physical strength. He was able to break out of the brig cell in a matter of seconds using nothing but bodily force. Given that skinjob bodies are indistinguishable from humans and no human is capable of generating such force, this should not have been possible. Recommend further investigation.

It must also be noted that the One threatened to activate some hidden programming in Dr. Tamsin, and even made a show of doing so with a supposed verbal trigger. He made similar claims about hidden programming being present in both SGT Knox and CPT Garrido. Given the source and circumstances these claims seem likely to be little more than an attempt to generate distrust, however.
