House Rules

Just like any game some house rules have build up around the systems that are used. Guidance found here varies from hard and fast to more flexible. Remember to read opening sections on pages to gain more context.1

As a player, you don't need to know all of this material in order to get a character approved, play in +combat, etc. However, you can expedite the process by checking here first and are encouraged to do so!

Quirks

Quirks are generally used for RP flavor, but as MUSHes grow larger, there are some that can be problematic in consensual RP depending on how they are used. Here you will find the lists that staff updates and uses to govern and guide what is banned and what is approved with caveats. In some cases, acceptable alternatives are provided.

Skills

While FS3 is utilized at BSO, we have some house rules provide checks and balances for skills. Check here when doing CG, putting in skill raises via +requests, or if you just need some guidance on what some skills mean for RP purposes.
