+ Overview
Below players will find a listing of information about what is known and the current conditions on the colonies and the rest of the Cyrannus System. This information can be considered IC for the playerbase for the purposes of planning and discussion. For now, it is not to be edited by players yet. Once we get a better feel and more players running operations, it will be opened up for editing. This information is to be considered 'Word of God' and supersedes all rumors and other information as fact, directly from Orion Staff. Because of the nature of the game, some of the locations will have far more information than others. A lack of information does not imply that there is nothing to be found out or discovered.
Information is for amending only, not deletion.
Important Notes (READ ME)
- SUPPORT NEEDED sections are mission ideas for players to consider when looking to plan new strikes or operations.
- NPCs are listed and have been seen on grid. Any NPC with a wikipage should have their pagename as 'npc-<lastname>' and who controls this NPC should be listed. Players who create pages for their NPCs (this is allowed) are limited to one picture and a minimal amount of information and details just to keep the character scope in mind. Those NPCs who look more like PCs to staff will be taken over to staff control or removed. FOR NOW, all NPC's should be approved via a simple +req to indicate position, rank, function, etc. Staff-controlled NPCs are available only by request.
- NPC Errata — NPCs are generally free to be handled within reason. Restricted from any use without staff permission: Skinjobs (unless you are a player assigned one), Special Forces (this includes snipers), officers over LTJG, enlisted over Sergeant/PO2, politicians representing more than 10,000 people (a town), or concept that do not fit the location (pilots on Aerilon, NPCs from Tauron after Warday, etc). If you have a question about whether or not something is okay to be NPC'd it is always better to ask first.
- Considerations — If you are running something in a local area, respect what is written here as canon and law. If something is listed as 'never', respect that decision. In some cases what is put down here is very precise for a very specific reason. Discarding it as 'the exception' can cause problems. Additionally, some of these areas are huge, such as the asteroid belts. They will take months to recon. As with NPCs, it is always better to ask first.
- Limitations — As with considerations, do not go against information established below. Also, do not hold scenes to forward projects (ie. recovering intact Cylon equipment) without permission from staff first. Discovery of new information via PRP, such as SAM capabilities or the identity of skinjobs, should not be done without permission as well. Items like that should always go through staff first regardless of where your character is.
Helios Alpha
Caprica
Caprica was very lightly nuked. The military bases were hit with, largely, conventional strikes or very small nuclear devices but little other physical damage has been done to the planet’s infrastructure. The Cylons are suspected to have made huge landings on the colony. There are currently between 4 and 6 basestars in orbit at any particular time. After the Picon Invasion by the Colonial Fleet, the Cylons have reinforced. The resistance commander is Major Martin Jankovic, Naval Special Projects, 55th MCCS.
- SUPPORT NEEDED: Contact the 55th Mobile Command and Control Squadron for tasking.
- Seven large cities were nuked in total, but Cap City and Delphi were not among them. These cities have not currently been named OOCly.
- Spree confirms an underground resistance movement in operation there. The 55th Mobile Command and Control Squadron is running point on this, a piece of the President's 'Last Line of Defense' package to conduct warfighting even if the government ceased to exist. The 55th MCCS is a road-mobile unit using state-of-the-art unjammable microwave satellite communications gear. They stay on the move in vehicles using active camouflage systems and are escorted by the 791st Security Forces Squadron, a special operations unit of private military contractors local to Caprica and special warfare team members assembled for the tasking. Members of these teams have no families and no ties to leave behind in the event that they were called up during a re-invasion of the colonies. So far this unit has been operating with near immunity to Cylon attempts to take it out. Unit commander is Major Martin Jankovic.
- Caprica has surrendered almost completely. The Cylons have moved in and occupied the colony, absorbing all government and business assets under their control. For the most part, humanity has been allowed to go about its business under heavy supervision of the Cylons and skinjobs. There are low-intensity resistance operations underway on Caprica, organized by the 55th MCCS, but these small cells have repeatedly been infiltrated by Cylon sympathizers. These humans are apparently getting in and turning over intelligence to the Cylons in exchange for large personal rewards and positions of authority within their communities. Caprica has become a scary environment for anyone in vocal or physical opposition to the Cylons. In OOC terms, think of this as the atmosphere of the Soviet Union and their treatment of dissenters.
- Major Jankovic confirms that there is a large, organized, and heavily motivated group of defecting Sixes. They have voluntarily placed themselves under the command and control structure of the 55th MCCS. Jankovic reports they have an estimated strength, as of AWD #450, at Infantry Battalion strength — roughly 1000 — including three weapons companies, signals company, and headquarters company. At present they have been following orders to keep a low profile while gathering intelligence and equipment. Jankovic attributes several shortages solved to the Battalion and they have also managed to equip themselves and get uniforms. The Six in charge of the group reports a similar group of Nines performing similar readiness and reconnaissance and infiltration operations already underway elsewhere on Caprica.
- The rumors that the Cylons have been taking people off Caprica have been confirmed. According to Jankovic, they estimate that as many as 90,000 dissenting survivors (as of AWD #450) have been taken just in their regional area of operations. In one case the Cylons took an entire small town overnight after it was discovered they had lent aid to the 55th MCCS. In other examples, members of the Resistance are taken after they have been identified. Others seem to be taken at random. Roughly half of these people have reappeared within three or so months and most of these people are being confirmed to have become 'Jacks'. The number of 'Jacks' seems to have stabilized recently with the efforts of the Cylons seemingly focused on taking and turning the civilian population via some kind of brainwashing. The other half are currently considered Missing. The people who have been taken seem to cover the social strata and include all demographics.
- A Marine sniper team assassinated President Richard Adar on AWD #231. The AAR is available here.
- A flight of volunteer strike pilots flew an operation on AWD #245 to bomb the swearing-in ceremony of the new puppet government the Cylons had attempted to install. All members of the government had to prove their loyalty and were already known war criminals, almost all with their own list of atrocities against humanity. This strike was a complete success, killing a very high percentage of the targets (live broadcast recordings bring estimates to 90-95%). Those who may have survived are unknown but any who have survived are not out in public. The AAR is available here.
- After the back-to-back assassination of the Cylon's backed President and then the bombing of the swearing-in ceremony, both of which were televised live, the Cylon's hold on Caprica was beginning to slip. The population of Caprica had been completely cut-off since Warday. They had been told by the Cylons that the small bits of humanity still fighting were being destroyed. After significant chunk of the population of Caprica watched the Avery Hall bombing on live television no amount of covering-up was going to explain what was happening. The Cylons were trying to maintain control but the Caprican citizenry began to rebel. Crackdowns started soon-after that spurned dissent. In turn, this created a tinderbox atmosphere where dissenters of any kind are turned in. Intelligence estimates say that roughly 1/3rd are supporting the Cylons via a variety of motivations, including some in outright fear. Jankovic suspects roughly 1/5th would be willing to stand and fight if they thought they could win, though not likely anyone in the cities would join the effort. Supporters are openly rewarded and informers are given lavish gifts.
Survivors: Roughly Two Billion
Gemenon
Gemenon was heavily nuked and is considered a total loss.
Survivors: None
Picon
The Colonial Fleet Headquarters, located at Perkinston, was hit with a 50MT nuclear weapon as the opening shot of the war. The blast was visible for 400 miles in every direction and rattled windows at double that range. The other major cities were tactically nuked. The Cylons were not expecting such heavy resistance and had been slogging through a violent guerrilla war, similar to that on Aerilon, with various organized and disorganized units of the Colonial Marines, Navy, and civilians. On AWD #264 the Colonial Fleet returned to Picon en force and landed two battalions of Marines at CFAB Crandall and liberated it. This opened up the base's massive reserve fleet of Vipers, Raptors, and Predators and a huge influx of air support followed. Currently the tables have turned heavily against the Cylons left stranded on Picon. The Cylon fleet seems to have ceded the loss to humanity while the Centurions and skinjobs trapped there refuse to quit without a fight. Picon is considered to be the only liberated colony, if only tenuously held.
Towns and villages can be assumed 'safe' (radiologically) for occupation by human forces, but they are largely abandoned and attacks are still possibilities. The homes and structures are heavily strafed, burned, razed, collapsed, or sprayed with small arms fire. The largest cities are mostly bombed out and can be traveled-through without serious health problems unless people touch a lot of metal, drink the water, or eat canned foods. Anti-rad meds will negate these factors and the meds are generally available to pilots and ground teams.
As of AWD #450, most of the planet has been cleared of Centurion forces. Without centralized government and only military patrols, roving gangs have begun to try to claim territory and have been reported to try to ambush military convoys, though they mostly prey on civilian targets. Commander Spree has issued a planet-wide kill order on anyone found in commission of piracy and human trafficking. Suspects are to be arrested to stand at a tribunal. Military Police take priority here but all Marines are in-effect deputized due to the implementation of Martial Law. Spree has called on communities to pull together and organize local law enforcement with Marines expected to respect badged law enforcement officers. So far there has been much success with the call to arms and community policing.
- SUPPORT NEEDED: Military patrols in the unpopulated areas, looking for gangs and pirates. Air Wing Raptors provide much of the emergency medicine transports.
- SITE ANVIL was a major regional command location, headed up by Commander Carolyn Spree, Colonial Marines, but is now a High Value Asset facility coordinating all resistance operations on the Twelve Colonies. Commander Spree answers to only one individual, Admiral Jameson. Anvil is run out of a set of connected mineshafts with numerous exits all over the mountain ranges. The site began as an ad hoc command post and has since turned into a fully operational and protected bunker complex. The mineshafts have been reinforced and the interior looks like a completely purpose-built facility complete with dormitories, bathrooms, a mess, hospital, and full complements of command support staff. This is easily the most heavily defended Colonial military position on any colony, apart from Sheridan. There are rings of SAMs, anti-aircraft guns, and Vipers are constantly in CAP rotation overhead. Marine ground presence is cited as 'heavy.'
- OOC Note: Applications to have served at this command post, in a background, must be pre-approved by staff but will likely be denied.
- Picon Command retains the vast majority of the airpower left on the colonies. It has Raptors, Predators, and Vipers. Most of the Raptor resources are being used to keep up SLOCs (Space Lines of Communication) and start getting intelligence and support to other colonies. Landing larger ships on Picon at CFAB Crandall is possible and the AMARG is attempting to restore several mothballed destroyers. Crandall has significant firepower available and operates the de facto headquarters for all combat aircrew training.
- Resistance fighting on Picon was some of the most bitter known to mankind. It was loosely organized and those who would not or could fight were kept in secret locations, depending on the region. There had been no problems with units working together. Children as young as twelve could volunteer for front line duty. Children eight years and older could volunteer for support positions at the rear or command posts. Nobody was forced into these positions and anyone under the age of 18 was afforded the choice to remain sheltered in a safe location. Very few healthy people between 8 and 18 take the option of shelter and the overwhelming majority of those in arms (including children) are unwilling to leave Picon without force.
- With the majority of the resistance operations on Picon being conducted by orphaned teenagers, each 'platoon' was organized with an adult male and female in command positions. The reasoning was to provide teens with guidance that would be best coming from an adult and afford the boys or girls the option to choose who to seek out. Many of these units became extended family and losses were felt bitterly. Many of these units are still in operation across Picon and do highly valuable work in relief convoy escort, policing, and logistical support. They look like children playing dress-up until one gets a good look at their eyes.
- There were also full adult units on Picon, but they tended to be specialized towards a few particular areas like Engineering or attempting to practice medicine. Quite a few were special forces or former military that picked up weapons and formed paramilitary groups that would go hit targets as able until Spree began to reach out to them planet-wide to coordinate.
- CFAB Crandall, just SW of Marlin City, was a home to the 33rd Tactical Fighter Wing and AMARG — the Aircraft Maintenance And Regeneration Group. Affectionately called "The Boneyard" by Naval personnel, this is where retired aircraft are sent to rest under desert sun and dry conditions. Thousands of Raptors, Vipers, and Predators are stored here along with long-retired atmo-only craft. These fleet assets have all their fuel and liquids drained, power cores removed, and then sprayed with a protective coating against blowing sand. A craft, by a trained crew, can be turned around every sixty minutes if the craft is turned in-place in one of the boneyard's storage sites and supplies are available.
- The 308th Armament Systems Group and 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, were confirmed to be working as slave labor for the Cylons to ready and push out some of the larger transports and strip them to turn them into cargo ships. Survivors report that they refurbished and pushed-out 68 transports since Warday, but none were ever seen again once they were completed and flown off.
- Crandall has a very large armaments bunker dedicated to weapons storage, research, and a range dedicated to testing. The 308th ASG maintains readiness posture that they can arm most ships with munitions if it can be landed on the runway. This bunker also houses testing facilities for experimental weapons.
NPCs:
CMDR Carolyn Spree: Overall resistance commander for all resistance forces on the Twelve Colonies. — STAFF
SSGT Charlotte “Golf-04” Hall: She is a JTAC recovered (a member of the Picon Resistance) and spent some time in care on the Orion recovering from a GSW. — STAFF
Survivors: 28 Million.
Tauron
Tauron was heavily nuked and is considered a total loss. There is one basestar in the vicinity of the colony and its moon, Minos.
Survivors: None
Icarus
Recon needs to be flown.
Erebos Asteroid Belt
This asteroid belt has been swept in whole. There are vast numbers of mineral resources to be found here and it is patrolled (lightly) by Raiders. A few mining vessels were recovered during recon operations.
Zeus
A fleet of twenty-one jump capable ships was found orbiting one of Zeus's larger moons, Hebe. Included among them were two light cruisers, the Clotho and the Durbitz. Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that all twenty-one ships were frozen and lifeless. A radiation leak was detected, likely coming from one of the two cruisers. Ballistics indicate that the orbits will begin to decay in roughly twenty-five years without an adjustment. These ships are out of fuel and where there is power, only secondary life support systems are operational. All ships have been cleaned of bodies and the cruisers have been reclaimed by the fleet.
Minos
Tauron's moon and it is the only moon with a ring. It is home to several mining and scientific outposts. The spaceports have been wrecked and there have been nuclear weapons used sparingly. All known survivors on Minos were rescued surrounding AWD #300 and brought to Piraeus as refugees where they have set up a living area in Sheridan. There is one basestar local to this area.
Survivors: None, all known rescued.
Persephone
It has a small Naval Station in orbit that is available as an emergency fuel station, capable of refueling the whole of Seventh Fleet in an emergency situation. It was manned and defended by fighter defense stations to prevent piracy traffic. This station has been recovered and is currently left unmanned with defense systems left to full auto. There has been evidence that the Cylons attempted to get close to it and have occasionally launched missile barrages to no effect, likely done to see whether the defense systems are still active. Contact Dropkick for personnel related to this station such as 'ENS Pertwii.'
Helios Beta
Leonis
Leonis was mainly targeted with air-burst neutron bombs, leaving most of the cities intact but killing large numbers of the population, likely. However, some of the cities were not touched. The current status of enemy activity on the ground is unknown. It is unknown how many people actually are alive on the planet, but there are definitely survivors in in tens of millions at a minimum. There are two basestars in attendance. Resistance commander is Captain Anthony Wells, CMC Logistics.
- SUPPORT NEEDED: Anti-air, close air support, warfighting materiele (guns, grenades, ammunition, etc.), special operations, Marine fires, evacuation of civilians.
- There is a resistance effort underway on Leonis that is slowly being taken apart by infiltrating Cylon loyalists. The core of this effort is undertaken by members of the military with support of civilian volunteers, but civilian efforts are waning. They are buoyed by experienced several survivalist communities on the rural and mountain areas, though. Their primary goal is to keep the non-combatant populations mobile and protected from the Cylons, secondary is the harassment of Cylon operations, followed by the liberation of prison camps. With the steam being lost by the civilian sector, it has been harder to keep the freed people mobile so they have since ceased raiding prison camps in the last few months.
- Orion's low-altitude recon over Leonis indicates a large prison camp built that is housing thousands of people. Additional information from Picon Command indicates that this is only one camp of many. Spree confirms that there are several dozen of these camps spread all over Leonis. Resistance forces were actively attempting to raid these camps to free prisoners, but their losses were growing appallingly high without close air support. Photorecon of the planet has identified fifteen cities that have been walled or fenced-off and turned into massive prison camps, in addition to the dozens already constructed elsewhere. Spree estimates that there are between twenty and twenty-five million prisoners on Leonis. Anyone captured is taken to these prison camps and held. There are hourly arrivals and departures of transports from these camps and cities, the prisoners either being brought in or off-loaded. Their ultimate destinations once departed are unknown.
- Civilian vessels, escorted by Raiders, have been seen jumping into the area. These are likely the ones landing at the prison camps.
- Towns and former population centers are no-go zones and are heavily patrolled by Centurions. Attempts to recon the prison cities are generally unsuccessful. Most cities were hit with tactical nuclear weapons to disperse the civilian populations from them, with Centurions then moving through to occupy them.
Survivors: Likely in excess of one-hundred twenty-five hundred million.
Virgon
Virgon's northern continent was turned into a dartboard for the 7th Fleet Anchorage. The Cylon's attached a base star to it and 400 billion tons hit the colony square on. The fusion reactors detonated, massively. The planet's plate tectonics were severely disrupted by the impact and all of the major fault lines in the northern hemisphere let go, sparking large amounts of volcanic and seismic activity. Additionally, an estimated 70% of the Colonial Fleet was lost at Virgon. Given the debris field and the orbit of the colony, Virgon passed through the long axis of the debris lane and most of the wreckage deorbited into the planet over the next six months. Its estimated that the tylium fuel, unexploded ordnance, and reactors detonating further destabilized the planet. Virgon, as a planetary body, has completely broken apart. Astrometrics indicates that the colony will form 1/4 of a new asteroid belt in approximately 2000 years.
- A low altitude recon performed by Picon Command, information passed via Aerilon, indicated that there were at least three towns in the southern hemisphere where clothing was found scattered and dumped in the streets. Pets and wildlife were also seen, however. These recon ships did not land.
Survivors: None Possible
Hibernia
This is Virgon's moon and was considered habitable. There were similar (and also unconfirmed) reports of more towns where the population appears to have vanished, just like Virgon. With the ongoing break-up of Virgon, this moon's orbit has become increasingly unstable and has become a rogue planetoid that has yet to find a predictable path through the system due to the break-up and impacts with pieces of Virgon. It is considered a cold, lifeless rock at this point.
- Recon saw several several wreckages of fleet ships that have crashed into the moon. The one town seen looked as though it had been burned in a bad fire some time before Virgon broke up. There were no communications ever recorded from Hibernia despite repeated attempts to find survivors.
- There were several clusters of ships landed together. The one group explored by a recon team (three civilian liners and three mid-bulk transports) inspected a civilian liner and found that the occupants appeared to have simply stood up and left in the middle of what they were doing, not even taking things like food, kids toys, or even a diaper bag. The ship explored appeared to be without fuel and seemed to be abandoned for some time. Two firearms (loaded, chambered, safeties off) were recovered from the flight deck (the safe had been opened), neither one fired. A log book was also recovered containing the following entry as its final, stopping abruptly:
19 JAN 2005 - 0730 LOCAL
The Petersburg Mlaree landed last night to make six ships total. We had dinner with the Captain and he seemed a good chap. We had warnings of possible Centurions overnight but the only real excitement was when an armed man and woman appeared out of the woods and approached the perimeter. They said they were locals. George thinks they're not right. Morning watch rotation said they spent most of the night in the middle of the field just looking at the ships and talking. Janette said they want to talk to the Captain in a few minutes here on the flight deck. Alice Kershaw, the XO on the Proud Wing, has suggested we unify what fuel we have left and use it to try jumping one ship to go find something habitable and safe but
* These ships have been recovered, brought to Piraeus, and taken apart to build additional refugee housing. Freighters: High and low-end clothing, scrap metal, drug store warehouse.
Survivors: None Expected Unknown
Troy
All of the domes of Troy's cities have been collapsed by, apparently, conventional weapons. The cities are untouched but the dead litter the streets for anyone who gets close enough to look. The assumption is that the mines are intact. There is one basestar in this area.
Survivors: None Expected
Pallas
Pallas was reconned with Hibernia in the same mission. There are currently five science stations intact and operating. The military site was hit with a tactical nuke and simply no longer exists. The landing pads have wreckage of ships and birds on them, but Raptors can probably land. This area is reported, by the locals, to be patrolled by Raiders though none were encountered on the recon. All known viable survivors from Pallas have been rescued.
Ouranos Asteroid Belt
Additional recon and patrol operations need to be flown. 20% explored.
Hera
A fleet of ghost ships was discovered at Hera. According to a small group of heavily armed survivors: Nearly three dozen freighters and civilian liners that lacked FTL drives rallied at this location. Three full-strength carrier strike groups jumped in to make a last stand there and defend the helpless civilians. Even as the military ships were slaughtered, the Navy refused to abandon them. They fought to the last man, so the story goes. There are still some military vessels there but have zero operational life support systems and are considered ghost ships. The Cylons tried to board that civilian ship but were successfully fought off several times. It stands to reason they attempted to board the other civilian liners.
Helios Gamma
Libran
Not much is known about Libran. Most of the reliable information is very limited. There is a single basestar parked over the northern pole of the planet. Spree reports that there has been very little success with putting people on Libran to get intelligence. The few teams that have been sent and returned that the planet was hit so heavily with EMPs that all electronics on the planet have been completely fried. Reports indicate 'Lots of fear. The descriptions are that the place has become nearly medieval. Torches, people using chamberpots…'. Cylons have apparently taken up a huge presence.
- SUPPORT NEEDED: Unknown, special operations recon
- The Cylons have erected a glowing blue EMP shield over the planet. It is suspected that attempting to fly through it will destroy the electronics on any ship. It also performs the double duty of limiting all transmissions into and off-of the planet. Effective screen penetration has been seen being performed by Heavy Raiders. As well, destroying the orbital emitters seems to knock out the field over medium-sized sections.
- Recent intelligence estimates indicate that the Cylons may be attempting to rewrite human history and are currently in the process of destroying all known factual records back to the original colonization post-Kobol. Several skinjob sources have confirmed that this is in-fact happening. If the intelligence is to be believed, their intent is to erase human history and the rule of law and return humanity to a state of serfs who serve the Cylons and skinjobs. Estimates say that this plan would take approximately 80 years to become successful with appropriate re-education of the current generation of children.
- A reconnaissance operation was performed to Libran with the intent to investigate the operations of a One near the town of Yorrick. The town is a sleepy cattle ranching town into a very steep mountain valley. Before the war it made most of its money on tourism for the ski lodges in the area. During the off-season they would play up the little-believed theory that the first colonists landed nearby after leaving Kobol. Despite extensive efforts to prove the theory, not one shred of factual evidence has ever been produced. However, the recon operation discovered the Ones operating one a nearby mountain peak with Fives and Tens, having opened what appears to be an armored door to something inside the mountain. There has been no confirmation as to what they were looking at or have found. The successful recon, however, had the effect of turning the line of Twelves against the Ones.
Survivors: Unknown
Sagittaron
Sagittaron was heavily nuked and is considered a total loss.
Survivors: Negligible
Scorpia
The surface of Scorpia was lightly nuked. Most of the wreckage of the Scorpian Fleet Yards and the related ships crashed to the surface of the southern hemisphere, covering it in dead ships and debris. Cylons have two basestars in orbit to monitor the planet (3rd withnessed on recon, but jumped away). There were intermittent distress signals being sent from the southern hemisphere for the first twelve months after Warday. It was mostly in ruin after the crash of the shipyards that skidded and exploded over more than one hundred miles. There are two basestars in orbit. The Resistance commander is Major Angela Fuentes, CMC Force Recon.
- SUPPORT NEEDED: Close air support, special operations, Marine fires, medevac, supply, evacuation of civilians
- Civilian vessels have been seen jumping in and out of the area escorted by Raiders.
- Low altitude recon of Scorpia ordered by Picon Command indicates that there are some construction efforts on the surface of the northern hemisphere. These facilities have long-since been constructed. There is no intelligence about their function and Major Fuentes has orders to focus on sabotage, ambush, and infiltration operations else where on the planet.
- There is a confirmed resistance operation underway with civilian and military teams fighting heavy jungle warfare engagements with Cylon forces. They've taken to using tunnel systems to hide their operations and the Cylons are having a very difficult time finding them. Guerrilla operations consist of lightning strikes against soft or targets of opportunity like vehicle convoys. Some more focused attacks have taken place under Major Fuentes' supervision and there has been some good success to accompany losses.

Thanatos
A small planet with a corrosive 'sulphur' dioxide atmosphere. This planet is tidally locked to the star, and aptly named for the god of death. This place is dead and strategically useless. Nothing there and it is not patrolled.
Acheron Asteroid Belt
Recon and patrol operations need to be completed. 75% explored.
Ophion
A frigid gas giant with diameter of 51,000 km, and an inclined orbit. The planet has 14 moons, all smaller than 10 km in diameter. Studies on the planet have Colonial scientists thinking that Ragnar was originally a member of the Helios Gamma system, while Ophion was not. Scientists think that Ophion was a rouge planet that passed close to Ragnar and was caught by the star, pushing Ragnar into its current orbit around the entire Gamma/Delta system. There was nothing found at this location.
Helios Delta
Aerilon
While most of its major cities were targeted with neutron bombs, Aerilon is in the unique position of being a largely rural, agricultural planet, with the majority of its population living outside of sprawling metropolises. The people have put up an armed resistance en masse. Over the first 450 days the Aerilonian people have given up much pretense of trying to live with the Cylons. Most of the colony has gone to war in one shade or another. Much of the population has fallen under a re-organized command structure called the Aerilonian Army that takes its orders directly from Commander Carolyn Spree on Picon. What was once just conspiracy theories about old First War bunkers turned out to be factual. The Aerilonian Army never actually melted down their military equipment or munitions from the First War. The bunkers have been thrown open and the AA has been fighting a pitched war using heavy and medium armor as well as anti-tank. The Marines have been supplementing with their newer equipment and shoring up weaknesses where the AA is falling short. There are two basestars in orbit.
- SUPPORT NEEDED: Everything.
- The Cylons took out the seat of government in all the territories. All major cities are considered ‘radiological nightmares’ and they are also guarded. They used high altitude bursts of neutron bombs at these cities. This has led to the strategic theory that the Cylons won't use nuclear weapons or anything else further that would damage the soil. Tactical suspects that they need Aerilon intact in order to feed the other colonies they have captured.
- There are large numbers of Cylon air defense systems on Aerilon. Foxfire gun platforms and Forge gun/SAM trucks dot the landscape. Flak guns of all calibers have also begun showing up as the Orion has begun bringing in more support. The Cylons have also begun deploying the Saber systems, but very carefully. They deploy the Sabers to protect important locations, but the missile sites are always located within close proximity to populated civilian centers. This is likely done to prevent the fleet from simply bombarding them from orbit. An orbital bombardment mission on the sites would kill anyone within a couple miles of the impact zones.
- As of AWD #450, a new enemy has appeared on Aerilon. They call themselves the APF, 'Allied Planetary Forces', and appear to be operating all manner of colonial aircraft and fighting on the side of the Cylons. There has been proof of this cooperation taped on gun camera footage as well. It is likely they are operating from at least one major former CFAS station on the northern latitudes of the planet. Additionally, they began deploying child soldiers against Aerilonian Army and Colonial Marine forces. These troops, despite their age, appear to be well trained and dedicated. Video recon estimates them to be ages 12-18.

Aquaria
Aquaria has been almost entirely untouched. Cylons destroyed the primary spaceports and have left one basestar to guard the planet. On the last recon, the basestar was not observed but it may still be in orbit. Extensive radio contact was recorded with population on the planet but the civilians were not contacted. Large number of survivors are possible. All reports indicated cooperative contact between cities via shortwave radio. It does not sound like Aquaria knows anything about what has happened beyond a minor landing on their colony.
- CMDR Spree reports that nobody flies to Aquaria anymore because they have lost too many crews trying to get in or out.
- All spaceports have been destroyed with conventional weapons. It does not appear nuclear armaments have been employed against Aquaria.

Canceron
Canceron was heavily nuked and is considered a total loss.
Survivors: None Expected
Phoebe
Despite a thorough search of the planetary body, there was no contact with any other ships or wreckage. No sign of Cylon patrol.
Aeolus Asteroid Belt
The recon through the sector finished near asteroid AAX-99504-1J. Through the recons there was zero observed jump activity around the belt despite it being outside DRADIS range. The recon made a quick pass over the 'top' of the belt and LTJG Pletarii chirped the DRADIS several times and we made a very brief radio call. The recon crew had intermittent contact with an anomalous signal that was hidden in with the rotational beacon of pulsar PSR 1412+19 (far distant star), though not emanating from the pulsar. The source was indeterminate. Working on the same frequency, there was something attached to the beginning and end of the precise moment of the rotational beacon. The team was unable to break it out with the equipment aboard their Raptor. Logs recorded and stored.
- This anomaly has been investigated and the plot completed.
Hestia
A recon spent approximately four hours on station at Hestia to search the upper atmosphere and conduct fly-bys of the 17 moons. There were several attempts to make contact and radio silence was broken to attempt this. There were no contacts with anything out of the ordinary, only the few dead survey satellites which are more than one hundred years old. No sign of Cylon patrol.
