"Why do you weep. Did you think I was immortal?"

Louis XIV, King of France

Background

A fishermans daughter from Picon, raised up near the water with her brothers, learning how to shoot rifles, fish and bake. When her father and two brothers died, she went a little crazy with a local boy, got pregnant and when the local boy left for the Marines, she never saw him again. Until they met on Orion. She told him he's got a 6 year old daughter… but now with the war, neither know if Amanda is still alive on Picon living with Chase's mother or.. if they are now statistics in the growing number of casualties after the war.

My daughter Amanda: Amanda Fischer
File Image Name Notes
Beckett_icon.png Cyrus Beckett My Superior, means I don't ever see him and I think that's a good thing, right?
Stone_icon.png Colt Jaeger Stone He's a good guy, knew him before Orion and he's always been a good listener. I'd consider him a friend, cept he's my superior.
Dell_icon.png Hermia Adelphi Kalivas She's great to talk to, way serious like me though and no nonsense. Maybe we're a lot alike.
Morgan_icon.png Elijah Morgan He's alright from what I can tell. So far. We'll see.
Fischer_icon.png Edward Aurelius Fischer Amanda's father, though she's never met him. Last I saw him was six years ago. Now that we're here together, I told him about my daughter. He wants to pick up where we left off after our two month fling. Might work if I hadn't sworn off relationships six years ago.
Knox_icon.png Cooper J. Knox Pretty solid thinking Marine. I was a judge for his tribunal, looks like we made the right decision. He's a good guy, from what I can tell.

Extra Info

Life By The Drop - Stevie Ray Vaughan Hello there my old friend, not so long ago it was till the end. We played outside in the pouring rain. On our way up the road we started over again. You're living our dreams, oh you're on top. My mind is aching oh Lord it won't stop. That's how it happens living life by the drop. Up and down the road in our worn out shoes, talking about good things and singing the blues. You went your way and I stayed behind. We both knew it was just a matter of time. No wasted time we're alive today. Churning up the past there's no easier way. Time's been between us a means to an end. Gods, it's good to be here walking together my friend.
In My Daughter's Eyes - Martina McBride In my daughter's eyes I am a hero. I am strong and wise and I know no fear. But the truth is plain to see, she was sent to rescue me. I see who I wanna be in my daughter's eyes. In my daughter's eyes everyone is equal. Darkness turns to light and the world is at peace. This miracle God gave to me, gives me strength when I am weak. I find reason to believe in my daughter's eyes. And when she wraps her hand around my finger, oh, it puts a smile in my heart. Everything becomes a little clearer, I realize what life is all about. It's hangin' on when your heart has had enough. It's giving more when you feel like giving up. I've seen the light, it's in my daughter's eyes. In my daughter's eyes I can see the future. A reflection of who I am and what will be/ An' though she'll grow and someday leave, maybe raise a family/ When I'm gone I hope you see how happy she made me. For I'll be there in my daughter's eyes.
