At the age of 26, she graduated from her schooling, and joined the Colonial Military as an Ensign. She was shipped off to begin her military training at the Uniformed Services Medical School on Picon, where she also served her residency. Finishing up her training there, she was then assigned to the Battlestar Orion as a Lieutenant. She has served with the Orion for the past two years. She spent most of those 18 months helping with construction accidents, or Marines who've pulled a muscle or otherwise injured themselves during training. Admittedly, she was a regular at Checkpoint Charlie's, her love of drink a not quite so well hidden secret, though she doesn't let it interfer with her work. With no close family, and only her parents who still don't like her chosen career, the Doctor has decided to continue on with the ship and its current mission. Hoping that she'll get pinned Captain during the next mission to Piraeus.
