Ceres_icon.png CPT Ceres "Redux" Delacroix What could I say now? Shortly after my arrival with Task Force Nomad, Ceres and I began a friendship that resulted in a relationship. Sooner or later, my life and my son were going to force me away from Piraeus and back to Caprica. The moment I asked her what her plans were and if she were interested in Caprica, she left. There was nothing that I could do.
Phin_icon.png Ens Phin "Dolly" McBride A genuine article and a fine man. I've never seen him overcome by his need for selfish emotion to be anything other than accepting and brotherly toward his fellow pilots. He's been kind enough to allow me my space when I've needed it, but always on the periphery to be willing to be there as a brother in arms. By the gods, let him hang on to this.

Extra Info

  • Published Author: Daniel Aios, for better or for worse, has a small bit of fame to him. He is the author of Into the Pale, a novel about an Aerilonian lad who joins the war against the Cylons and grows from a boy into a war-ravaged veteran. The novel itself is highly political in nature, and is a euphemism for Colonial society as a whole and their responsibilities to their creations. It achieved critical success, included a book tour, and has recently had the film rights sold. He is no longer the face of the novel, as he is no longer a part of the novel's entertainment process. Also, the novel is political fiction, in the style of Dostoevsky and Hemmingway. He is known as well for regular short stories, ranging from horror to essays that are published in the Colonial Military's quarterly magazines.
  • Polite Society: There are people known for their athleticism, others for their drinking, others for their insubordination. Daniel is known to be a part of the quieter crowd in the rec room and observation deck. While he's been known to drink with the rest of the Air Wing, he's found more often than not in a corner with a book or writing in one of his journals. He has opinions on mankind's darker instincts and is known for delving deep into advice and behavior when asked. This doesn't mean he's not one of the guys, but moreso that he's the librarian nerd of the group that has been an advice mentor to more than one pilot through the years.
  • Politically Inclined: Daniel was raised by political protesters and a political science professor. He views his service as a Viper pilot to be of the utmost responsibility to the Colonies. He is always well versed in the current political climate and the propositions being passed through the Quorum of Twelve. This makes him a striking point for many political issues, especially ones that might be deemed unpopular in military circles.
